Humpty Dumpty Sat On A Chair...

We are missing Great Gifts by passing each other by >-=|

Having much experience sitting down with, and getting to know, people suffering in homelessness, it has come to be my Belief that a hand on the shoulder (a.k.a. acknowledgement and encouragement) has been most beneficial! Even in cases of alcoholism, where giving someone an open ear, and something to do, such as taking a homeless man to see a Todd Rundgren concert, after hearing that he liked Todd's music, who, then, didn't drink (nor even express desire to) ALL day? As the homeless men who helped clean and plant flowers in Nimisilla pARK, it is awesome what the so-called "least of these" may do for "the most of us", when given opportUnity! Photography has also shown much benefit, from helping people (by taking and giving them photos of themselves) to feel valued (such as the man who planted flowers, who was moved to tears, when given his photos), to giving them a way (by letting them take pictures) to express themselves and !nspire others, as well as picking someone up off the sidewalk and taking them to see the Sunset at Sippo Lake, and giving them photos to remember the Eyexperience >+=>

Having featuring this subject at the center of the "Empathy from the Empire" exhibit, for an audience of visitors from ALL walks of LIFE, and many various nations, at the Empire State Building, in NYC, there are many more examples for me to Share! Believing there are people with much to contribute, and even Genius laying on Our streets, such as Nikola Tesla (after making Our whole modern way of LIFE possible, with Alternating Current (AC), Robotics, Remote Control, Radar, Radio, Television, X-Rays, Fluorescent and Neon Lighting, Etc!) was broke, and would have been homeless, himself, had Westinghouse (whose company was built on Tesla's AC Patents) not paid for his board at The New Yorker Hotel, until His Passing~ Of course, as Tesla's True Quest was for Free Energy, We are, NOW, challenged to fix problems inherent of not fully supporting this Visionary's Dreams! What's the difference between a Dreamer and a Visionary? Support! Having dealt with depression, myself, with people, such as Lydia Ruth, former Director of Public Relations at the Empire State Building, who supported me, it has become my Calling to help liberate others to their own potential! As Naomi Tutu (Daughter of Archbishop Desmond Tutu) has said, "Maybe We don't have a Cure for cancer, because the person who is supposed to come up with this Cure is too busy trying to prove that they are a worthwhile Human Being?" What if Answers to LIFE's most perplexing QUESTionS are to be found in minds that We've yet to acknowledge? Just as a jigsaw puzzle on the table can't be completed until the piece on the floor is found and lifted to the same level as the others to find its place in the picture! So, how do We find and nurture overlooked Genius? As stated in "A Plan To Make Homelessness History" (please click this link for article), "Common Ground developed the strategy that is now at the heart of the campaign: hit the streets and get to know the most vulnerable people, keep talking with them until they agree to enter housing (without pre-conditions), and then blanket them with supports to keep them there and help rebuild their lives." Notice "ear" at the center of "Heart"! <3
