As what Paolo Coehlo said in one of his tweets: Dreams and love are just words - until you decide to experience them. Pretty much the heavens conspired for me to attain and experience several of my dreams in one memorable trip. and the love just flowed more and more...

what do you feel?
1. experiencing Winter in Seoul. Winter is my favorite of the four seasons, more so to experience it in one of my favorite cities to visit. i like the pureness and bareness that it brings, the ice and the snow and cold wind that reprimands you to cover up otherwise your bones will shatter from too much shaking. I love being bundled up to keep warm, in contrast with the cold weather. I find it so romantic, the stillness.
2. Musical Elisabeth - experiencing Xiahtod. Originally this trip was not supposed to happen for me because I really wanted to watch the musical, otherwise I wouldn't really go. I wanted something to look forward to if I decide to pursue with the trip. Despite not being successful on the first attempt to get tickets, still managed to get a feb/26 2pm ticket through friends. After securing the ticket, I even had the guts to wait for a plane fare sale! and when a discount was offered I grabbed the opportunity immediately. It's now or never. I'm going to watch Kim Junsu in a musical!
Growing up loving singing and performing on stage, no doubt that I love watching musicals. the solos, duets, chorus, everything.. And having Junsu as one of the main characters is definitely something to watch! I've been wanting to watch since Mozart! and then Tears of Heaven, but I guess "third time's the charm" is the best way to describe this!
Junsu is in his element when he sings. he is known for the passion he puts into his singing every time he performs and the show we watched is not an exception of this! Oh gosh he is wonderful... my heart gets excited every time he enters the stage with this mystifying aura that the character Death/Tod comes with. and you'll know he's about to sing when he takes this big deep breath. ahh. The way he portrayed Death is enticing, alluring, sexy... that it made me wonder as well, which is kinda disturbing (but nothing troubling! i'm not depressed nor troubled!), that if Death is as tempting as Junsu, would I follow him too?
I remember, he struts when he walks.. with a black polo revealing his chest and black velvet pants. so handsome! nggh. i think they turned up the heater! The previous fanaccounts were also correct to point that (yes, there are kissing scenes with Rudolf, and then with Sisi)... however i love the scene where Junsu was half-laying on the bed and was singing, calling Elisabeth's name. (really, would have wanted to be named Elisabeth right that moment!) .. and his singing was great! I love how the others were saying that he improved since Mozart!... and those that listen to junsu often know that he really has a husky voice. he is not "paos".. what's paos in english? hoarse? that's just his weird beautiful husky voice! and his eu-kyang-kyang laughter can surprisingly sound manic too! watch it when you have the chance! i would want to watch again!
I'm so proud of Junsu... my heart leapt with pride after watching the performance I wanted to cry! Why they don't release OSTs of these musicals or something. Mister Levay, please have a junsu musical concert again featuring more of Elisabeth! hihi.I would love to have a copy of the songs.. I think the duets are amazing. Also, we watched Park Eun Tae play as Lucheni! he is amazing as well! what luck that we got the Ock Joo Hyun - Kim Jun Su - Park Eun Tae - (and this other cool guy who played Franz Joseph who looked like Robert Downey Jr! haha). Great ensemble!
btw, Junsu, you're so adorbs blonde. *.*
