Seoul Searching: South Korea part 2
before i start, i just gotta say:
I HAVE SO MUCH LOVE FOR 바나나 맛 우유.
I'm continuing my korea adventure entries by posting food pics!!! nomz!
I was really surprised, that despite the amount of food we ate, i still lost a pound or two after this trip. Could be due to 2 things: that red super spicy peppers can actually burn fat inside the body, or it's because we walked around the entire city everyday and the exercise equalized the food intake XD so maybe you like the korean food in your local restaurants, i can assure that the spice they put there is tempered because i've never had so much water gulped down in one meal when we were in seoul. okay maybe a bit exaggerated with the water, but authentic korean food is damn spicy! and ...i love it! ♥
lunch time in insa-dong! squid with gochujang for me & pollock with garlic for meli.
and yessss banchannnn! side dishes ^^
no good meal is complete without alcohol. MAKGEOLLI!
it's the korean rice wine. lee seon joon hates drinking it bec he's adorbs like that :p
호도과자 (hodokwaja) ; warm soft small round bread with walnut & red bean paste inside.
i love anything red bean! we enjoyed munching it while walking around ^^
닭갈비!!!! HOT AS FFFFFF. can you see those big peppers? T__T
but it's really goood! we actually had this twice. First in myeongdong and 2nd at Se7en's chicken resto!
죽. congee! the serving is good enough for two.
we had this in a traditional korean congee restaurant called Bonjuk.
it's near Hyehwa station and Seoul National Uni Hospital.
Starbucks Coffee place in Insa-dong.
we saw 2 Starbucks stores with sign written in korean. cute!
i bought a Korea mug! something to add to my city mug collection =)
짜장면. jjajangmyeon. noodles in black bean sauce. in Cheongdam area! :D
we had mandu (dumplings) with the jajangmyeon! mahhh this is making me hungry.
oh hoho. funny story: Meli and I after being frustrated of not being able to go to Han River, our feet (and the wrong bus) led us to Express Bus Terminal station in Seocho area. this was also the afternoon when Jaejoong, Yoochun and Junsu created their twitter accounts! so of course, we were so busy looking for free wifi beside a random 7Eleven to tweet and spazz about @mjjeje, @6002theMicky and then not yet confirmed @0101xiahtic. well, i noticed there were two boys beside the store but after the twitter aftermath then i just realized that they left the 2 canned drinks for us. XDDDD maybe they left after losing patience of waiting for us. sorry, we didn't notice! hello, JYJ is on Twitter! .. we didn't take the drinks, btw. :p

명동교자 resto only had 4 items in their menu including these two.
of course, we had the usuals! odeng, korean bbq, ddeokbokki, soju, kimbap.. you already know all of these right? :) i didn't get to take pics hehe :p
