receiving an award that took them years to achieve - deserving of a standing ovation by audience and peers. how come not all five is on stage? how funny is it when life plays a trick on us? ...a big part of the perfect equation is missing, and seeing three on stage expressing their heartfelt thoughts makes everything seem more real, and more disconcerting and more painful. though, somehow i felt like i'm in the middle of reading a very tormenting fic caught in the climax of the situation and the final chapter that has the conclusion is yet to be thought of, decided and written.
i was hesitant to watch the video. i'm afraid of the burst of emotions that would come after. but hell, talk about crying. but the crying came with pride and respect and so much ardour. i can't explain. but it's beautiful.
and proven, there are friendships that can't easily be broken. and if a soul can be divided into five, and not just two, i guess that is possible too. and when you love someone, you just have to god damn say it. and say it, they did. the message definitely reached the intended.
so then, we'll remember this day. one of the many days that have gone and are coming that spur up our emotions in different ways. we'll wait until the next comes. hoping that the next time we wake up and open our eyes, we'll be reading news worth crying over again. out of sheer happiness. and you'd be able to tell yourself, it's worth all the waiting.
