The sun always shines
It's 9:23pm here (I haven't updated my laptop and LJ clocks) and I'm already sleepy but it still feels so weird to sleep when it still looks like 4pm outside, the sun is out and shining grandly. It was a good decision for us to take a Friday flight - time difference made our 13 hours 50 minutes flight seemed like it was just 7 hours, arriving here still at a Friday. We really wanted the Friday flight to have more time going around the area for the weekend. The weather is fine, it's sunny best time to tour around but it's good to have a scarf in hand. It gets colder at night of course. Ohh..
Where to now?
We've arrived -! We landed at Schiphol Airport in Amsterdam.
Such greenery! and the cows and sheep and mills.
Our hotel is near the Utrecht Centraal. Everything is accessible.
Utrecht is famous for the Dom Cathedral.

Netherlands is famous for its Canals too. The Oude Gracht.
We took a 1-hour drive to the beach at Den Haag. The North Sea.

Weekdays are for work, and weekends are for pleasure. It'll be like first day at work again, meeting new people. I've talked to some of them through emails before but well of course this is different. Starting anew, somewhat. We're starting to familiarize ourselves with the city, the people, the culture - Utrecht will be our 'home' for a while. It's a really beautiful city. ♥
I already have my NL cellphone number, i'll give it to friends soon :)
work tomorrow! and application of residence card plus many other relocation stuff.
I will definitely need the energy, so I better get ready for bed now.
