Crash / Strike
What a terrible day!
My computer laptop at home crashed last night and i tried to revive it amidst the countless blue screens but I don't want to worsen it's condition anymore. I was so eager to switch to BIOS mode, fix any bad sectors or that Kernel_InPage_Error but I'm afraid I'll destroy it more. I am so devastated T____T I am disarmingly emotionally attached to my computer. I am a Computer Science person with no computer access. It feels like I've lost a vital limb.
I won't have computer access at home until I get that fixed. I will not be in invisible mode in YM tonight, I am just Not Online. sigh? I hope I can retrieve my data. What about my iTunes? my Complete TVXQ music collection? my downloads for the whole month of February? my YooSu video collection? never mind the pictures. Shet buti na lang I have all my Dong Bang music in my Ipod until the latest Crazy Life/Close To You single (it IS a Dong Bang Ipod after all). Music Is Important. I just want my mp3s and my YooSu back.
This is so frustrating.
On the way to work today, I was faced with a horrendous public transportation strike. I took kolorum fx just to be able to reach Makati. The traffic coding scheme was lifted off and miraculously there were no buses in EDSA, I hate it when the fx turns a right at Guadalupe to Powerplant Mall. Hello manong! I am working at Global City The Fort. Ang layo ko na! Paiikutin mo pa ako sa Buendia. Crap. For all the demonstrations the citizenry is doing for the past few months, I'm not surprised anymore this is happening again. I also noticed last night that the peso dropped to 40.9 per 1 USD again. Hooray for my Dollars, Bad trip for my Peso. What is happening to us? Can I go home early today? Oh wait, I don't want to go home, tatanga lang ako sa harap ng tv.
Everything about this morning is Dismal Failure D:
The office building will have a Fire Drill at 2pm today. But we won't participate because the managers requested us not to because of deadlines we have to meet. Pwede pala yun. Sana lang wag kaming pausukan dito.
I hope I can still concentrate on my work. And do something good for today.
