Season of Fireworks and Magic Castles
It's past midnight already.
I don't know. If I have to cry and feel dramatic over the silence of the surroundings, with sudden booms from distant fireworks lighting the evening sky. Or/And. If I have to cry over the sweetness of the season, feel fluffy and cozy all over like marshmallows over hot chocolate on a winter's night. only it doesn't snow here. but still. either way, it'll be crying. it'll be good crying. It's better to smile, yes? :)
My cousin just called, to greet us a Merry Christmas. They'll be here at the house too, later. I told my aunt to bring the Magic 8 Ball, our gift for my other cousin. I'll ask about what's ahead for 2008. Will I become richer? Am I bound to travel far greater places? Will love be as true? I anticipate answers like Definitely, Certainly and Without a Doubt. But then again, we do not shape our paths that way. But still we take risks and chances? hmm. Life is not at all plain.
Just had Noche Buena. Kare-Kare with Bagoong and Rice. with Cake and Macaroni Salad for dessert. We have spaghetti too, but I'll save that for Christmas morning. ♥
