Well, I must say this has been a long, fantastic weekend. I had such a good time with all of my friends and family. It was so good to see people that I havne't seen in years. Friday night was the football game that we were all so excited for. There were quite a few of us alumni playing in the band. My god it was awesome. Playing half-time that night brought back so many memories of being excited for games and just dancing our asses off all night in the band section. We marched in with the band, played on the sideline with them, sat next to them, and danced to the funks with them. I definitely didn't want it to be over. Let's see, who was there.....Me, Bridget, Natalie Campana, Jamese Willis, Zach and Nick Nocera, Jon and Jeremy Bell, Eric Bentley, Chad Davis, Mike George, Deanna Leasure. Wendy came to the game too and did the alumni choir. Afterwards, there was a mixer at Lenoras so Bridget, Deanna, and myself met my family over there and hung with them for a while. After that, Bridget and I met Wendy at a bar cause we were in the mood to dance. Saturday was the alumni dinner. Patrick and his girlfriend made it in for that, so that was nice. I hung out with the Noceras for a while there. We were laughing at the fact that the three of us were the youngest there, and the only ones to show up from our classes. The oldest person there was a 101 year old woman, and she sat next to Grandma Kiki. There was a table full of them and they were recognized as the oldest ones to be there. My great-grandmother graduated in 1934, and there were four people from her class there. After the dinner, me, Bridget, and Nick went to Bar 909 and then to Lake Lodge to see Mongo play. That's always a good time. Then, we pretty much just came back to the apartment to hang out the rest of the night. I realized how much I miss my friends from outta town. Nick, Zach, and Mike George...Love you guys!! Today, I went to Grandma Kiki's for breakfast to see Patrick before he left. I pretty much passed out there cause I was so exhausted from this weekends festivities (and having to work in between). I came home for a while and had a LOOOONG talk with my dad, and it was very good. I'm glad that he and I are working on our relationship and that I can help him out. It makes me feel good. The talk we had was very interesting and a good experience for both of us. It was the most intense/serious talk we've ever had. You know, they say things happen for a reason. And, I believe that him staying here until he gets on his feet will be a good thing for us. It's already been good for us, so we shall see what the future holds. We've decided that we won't let any stupid shit get between us again and from this point on we will continue to work on our relationship...I'm glad, and I'll keep my fingers crossed :) I just walked in the door a little bit ago, and he had woken up so we're sitting here bullshitting and watching the three stooges, haha. This Thursday, Cochran is coming here from Pittsburgh, so I'm really looking forward to that. He's a great guy, and a lot of fun to be around. Not to mention, that he's just a genuinely nice person. It'll be his first trip to Steubenville, so I'm gonna have to try as hard as I can to show him a decent time. We'll see, everyone knows this town doesn't have much to offer. And, I have a lot to live up to, considering he's coming from Pittsburgh! At any rate, I'm excited for him to come. Next Sunday I'm going to the Lake and I'm really looking forward to that. I haven't been in a while, so i'm excited to see my friends there...I miss them too :) Oh well, I'm off to chat with dad and hit the sack. Love you guys, take care!!
