I got back from yearbook camp today. Yeah, I WENT TO A YEARBOOK CAMP. Actually, most of our staff went. We worked on the "theme" of our book. This year is my first year of being on staff for yearbook .. Obviously, I didn't know anything and so we learned how to do layouts and a lot of terminology. At least I feel I know SOMETHING about yearbook now. There are so many rules about pictures and captions and themes it's unbelievable. Anyway, there were these yearbooks that were out for us to look at and stuff that other schools had come up with. We were free to take them with us to keep and stuff! It was actually pretty cool. I took Champaign Central's yearbook with me just because I know quite a few people that go to that school. The idea was that if you liked a certain layout or something of that sort you could tear the page out of the book or just take it with you. Whatever books that weren't taken were trashed... So I rescued Central's book from the trash.
I'm in Chicago right now and we're staying a night in this hotel before we drive to the airport tomorrow. I'm excited! We come back Sunday around 1 Illinois time. London is 5 hrs ahead of Illinois time, so this should be interesting. Well I'm bored and on aim right now so if you want IM me vva1dman.
