What's this I hear about journals being suspended?? Sounds like there was an all out witch hunt... and I'm rather disappointed in such behavior on LJ's part. Did they get bought out by some new big corporation? B/c that's when companies usually alienate their client-base like this... *sigh*
So, I've been majorly obsessed with LOTRO. Really. LOL It's unhealthy, I think. I've leveled up my elf hunter (lol) to level 29, almost to 30. There's a 50 level cap, as of now in the game. And I'm a historian craftsman, so as long as I farm the ruins and gather dye materials, I'm raking in the dough. But it doesn't start out that way. B/c it's sooooooo much easier to be a prospector or woodsman with all the wood and ore nodes EVERYWHERE. I have to be Tomb-raider and hunt down all the usually spawn spots for the shattered pitchers and broken urns. lol So nerdy. But i have them memorized. And OMW, I spent an hour grinding through urns today. Maybe over an hour. In these certain hills, the spawn points are generally in two ruins, so by the time I raid one, it's respawned at the other, go get that one, then run back and the first one has respawned. lol I got like 50 drops off of that set up. Then some little HOBBIT started camping my spot!!! He saw me sitting there--heck, he may have watched me run back and forth for an hour--and he STILL decided to camp it! And he stole TWO of my urns!! I was spiiting nails. Ranting my head off to Nathan, then did something useful--I put on my hunter's speed burst skill and beat him to the other other ruins and back. I think he gave up when he realized I wasn't going anywhere and I could beat him to all the spawns unless they spawned right next to him. Midget punk. I mean, there are about 5-6 other known areas that spawn urns in that map alone--why mess with the one I'm camping when I'm working so hard for so long? Like seriously. Grrr. If I could've taken him out like a regular mob, I would've--he was like 10 levels below me...
I'm still angry. lol
Such a stupid, juvenile thing. But I'm mad.
LOL
Eeeew 80's clothes in a TV movie....
Anyways--I'm grinding the levels in my craft to make money to get a horse. They're like 4 gold and 200 silver (oh yes, serious money) and I can't buy one until level 35, but it'll take that long for me to raise the money. lol I maintain at around 1 gold 800 silver no matter what I do... so yeah. And you have no idea how much running is involved in this game. Back and forth, around and around and around... and to get a horse ride from one town to another practically drains you.
Ok. Enough rambling.
The Ultimate Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is an insanely good book that should be read, immediately. Do it.
