let us drown

May 19, 2012 11:19

my skin, lily-white
and whispering secret
wants against your stronger
frame--

you temper reaction and
i seize it with both hands,
i catch your expelled air
with my mouth and turn it

into words that lace the earth
with fissures

their slender vapor escaping
the cracks making our
eyes sting with longing

blood vessels fill and overfill
in sighs locking fingers in the
spaces--

"i want you like nothing i have ever
wanted before,

now, let us drown".
