The first thing I IMMEDIATELY noticed was that first picture. Because I know EXACTLY where that is. All the driving pictures I know those surroundings by heart because I make the drive from Fresno to Pleasant Hill/Concord so much.
When I'm driving it by myself in the day time I always find it so peaceful and calming (Except rarely during traffic, but even then...).
And the energy fan thingies? I used to have funny names for them when I was a kid, too! I can't quite remember now, but I think it was something like pinwheels or something. I always used them as a landmark to let me know we were getting closer.
The pictures of trees and flowers in the rainy weather you took makes me ache for the bay area, I lovei t there so much...
That picture you took of the bay bridge? BEYOND gorgeous!!!
And ooooh, my sister used to work at the music hall. Too bad she dopesn't work there anymore or I might've been able to get you in for free, hehe. I used to go with her to work sometimes. I got to see Rufus Wainwright and Teagan & Sara that way, hehe.
And ooooh, I of course love your shirt, hehe. ;-)
Ugh at the gas prices. When I first got my car in 2003 it only took 15 bucks to fill it up, now with these prices it takes 30!
Thanks for sharing your trip with us, Anne! <3
