We all sat around the table. Forgetting previous words, previous arguments, all as an equal part of the family. We all looked like a hallemark card, sitting and laughing, telling stories, seeing who can embarrass who, and what lines are finally able to be crossed. It was the story thanksgiving, the ones that you see in movies. Amazing, yes. Fortunate...of course. Strange when you've convinced yourself that you have a family of a whole different sort. But then again, sometimes i look for something dark about everything.
I guess this is the portion of my entry where i should give thanks, give thanks for things ive taken granted for this year thus far. I can't think of anything that i am not thankful for, i cannot think of anything i don't have that i am not thankful for. In fact listing off all the things that i am thankful for would depreciate its value.
but im thankful for all i have, and for all i lack.
