They're octopi. They're easier to understand than humans. They're hungry, scared, worried, wanting food, not wanting to get hurt. Basic. No sense in killing them, it won't get you anything of what you want and they're usually more useful alive.

And does it continue to interest you?

It does, to be honest. I, for one, don't see any use from them. At least one person found them to be useful in their belly.

Cheza? I'm not surprised she'd think that. It was her purpose to find and reveal Paradise. Without it, she would wither. It is no wonder she desperately wants there to be one.

It is Paradise. If someone like me can find a place then Toboe and the others can. They deserve it more.
