Because I now have nothing better to do than to do these things and my relationship list WENT THE WAY OF THE DODO, new relationship meme for Kisa and Simon. Ask me. They bite...okay, so only Kisa bites.
Padme Naberrie Kisa is unfortunately not only very aware with Star Wars canon but is friends with Padme's grandson. So she's got a little bit of hero worship, especially given that, you know, she was a queen at fourteen, whereas Kisa's still at school!
Simon, unfortunately, hasn't met Padme that I'm aware of.
Meer Campbell Kisa, oddly, thinks of Meer as being very sweet and well-intentioned and very much a girly girl. She's fascinated by the pink hair and the happy personality, although she hasn't really had the courage to go up to Meer and say hi. Chances are, even if she did, Meer's sheer effervescent personality would scare the living shit out of Kisa. It'd be good for her!
Simon has met Meer...and has offended her about three seconds after meeting her. It's a common thing. He sees her as being not particularly bright, shallow, interested in what the surface holds and utterly uninteresting.
Shinn Asuka Kisa slots right into Shinn's "little sister" category for camp and that suits her fine. She's worried that he's always angry or always a little sad and she wishes she were able to fix that, but unfortunately it's a little hard for her to do that without turning into Mayu and that's just too cruel for camp.
Simon...hah. Shinn, to Simon, is a little like himself. In fact, I think I've referred to Shinn as being Simon's bipolar sixteen year old twin in that the side that Simon's seen is the one where Shinn Must Protect Stellar. That sort of dedication rings out to Simon because he's exactly the same way, and so when Shinn does impetuous things like shoot Athrun, it jars him because Simon wouldn't have done that. Projection, whut? He does have an urge to shake sense into Shinn and tell him that he shouldn't do the things he does, but reasons that it'd be pretty damn inappropriate. He still wants to, though.
Stellar Louisser Kisa hasn't met Stellar. This makes me sad.
Simon, on the other hand, thinks of Stellar as being River but cute and less psychic. As you can guess, this similarity has resulted in him wanting to keep Stellar as safe as he can because she's River or close enough to it. He's utterly outraged that she was in a combat situation because he thinks she wouldn't understand what's going on, and given how his own were pretty traumatic, he doesn't even like to think about Stellar in space with Reavers. When Simon was River, the fact that Stellar didn't go "umwtf?" at him but instead brushed his hair was oddly comforting. For some reason, he likes Stellar as a little sister and if anyone hits on her, Simon has a shotgun and he's quite capable of using it. Poor Shinn.
