social life, here i come.

so it turns out that when you plan to go on a date with a woman you meet on craigslist, you should really clarify that it is in fact a date, and not just a hanging out to go see a movie.  she told me about her boyfriend a little while after i paid for her ticket.  other than that though, not too much awkwardity occurred that night.  surprisingly little awkward actually, considering the premises, and really, i can't complain, i got to hang out, see Step Brothers (completely idiotic and fucking hilarious, as to be expected from judd apatow) and then drive around the valley in a convertible for a bit while listening to reel big fish.  all in all i came out ahead... i think... we're hanging out again today.

also, diana, if you read this, dad thinks that we went to middle school together, and i met her again through facebook. don't think he'd like me going out with someone i just met online. but hey, i gambled, and wound up not-raped/sold into slavery.
