Weeeeell. Here it is July. Where is my summer going? It's going way too quickly. I am ABSOLUTELY NOT ready to be a senior.
Anyway, this is my first time where I actually have time to update. Between directing the crazy summer camp (which went quite well), vacations with Court, play rehearsals, and college visitations my life has been on mad fast forward mode.
I went to OC for 4th of July with Courtney and we had some crazy times. One of which involves me going to H2O and dancing in a cage. That is never going to happen again. Courtney may love that kinda thing but it's not exactly my speed. I did learn one quite valuable lesson tho...When one is cage-dancing and hasn't the foggiest idea what to do, just grab the bars.
Earlier this week I went to Pittsburgh and Evanston, Illinois to look at colleges. I went to Carnegie Mellon and Northwestern and fell in love with both schools. I can easily see myself being happy in either city and in either theatre program. Now the obstacles involved are getting into one school and paying for one.
Play rehearsals for Radio TBS have been keeping me insanely busy lately, but it's been a lot of fun. It feels weird to finally do a comedy. Weird, but quite refreshing.
This week Court's car has been dead so I've been her official chauffeur. It's much better driving her to and from rehearsals now that she's moved. Cuz there's no way in hell I could cart my ass out to Westminster 2 times daily. Hunt Valley is much more manageable.
Today I reunited with an old friend/flame I haven't seen in nearly two years. And damn, He got hot!!!!!!! With my current situation I don't think much can happen between us but it was still good to hear from him and just talk. Talking makes the world go round.
Generally, life is...normal.
