school isn't that bad I guess
Well, the first day kind of sucked because it's so akward walking into classes and not knowing anyone in them and shaking hands (??? why do people shake hands?), being introduced to like a hundred people knowing the minute they tell you their name you forgot it, and then you pretend you didn't the next day until they have to correct the teacher on its pronounciation during attendence. It's great! But anyways....the afternoon on the first day was pretty fun - me and emily went to malarky's and had a good time watching Almost Famous, except my dvd got all screwed up and started skipping and we cleaned it at least 10 times and tried 4 different players :/ We finally settled on going to Blockbuster to rent it (cause we only had the end left, and it was really good, and neither of us had ever seen it, and we wanted to know what happened, and emily had $4 in change, and paying for things in change feels like free...) but they didn't have it in. Anyways that was a blast. The second day got better once I went into first hour and Leah asked me to eat lunch with her - thank God I'm not such a loser after all! Ensemble was fun - I was a little aprehensive at first, but we played a name game thing and talked about why we were in theater and how we got hooked. People are so open! My answer obvious: dance, oh and cinderella (8th grade good drama elective times... :D) I like most of my classes - physics is the most boring thing in the world though. I have it second hour and oh I just won't bother boring you too with details. Today was better than yesterday so I'm hoping this trend keeps going and life gets sweeter. Oh and I love love love humanities, granted we haven't had any real homework yet, but still I can tell it will be fun/interesting. That's enough on school. Just an update on my life: I'm hopefully finishing most of my college apps this weekend and siging up for auditions for Grand Valley and Western, and have to talk to George about Buffalo because I don't know how to there. Yay life is finally getting organized. Competition auditions are either friday or saturday, and dance class starts next wednesday! I hope all is well with you lovely people ~ Goodbye! :)
