I had my senior pictures this week. They went well I think. I can't wait to get the proofs back! The downside was that I had to go twice. The first day was a beautiful sunny day except for the 15 minutes I had to do my outdoor shots it decided to rain. I had to go back the next day and put like 50 things in my hair to try and make it look halfway decent. I wish I had hair that was smooth.
Yesterday was kind of a bad day. I was just in a bad mindset with myself. That's been happening a lot more lately. I just look at myself sometimes and don't like what I see. Other times (actually most of the time) I feel like I wouldn't change a thing. My Mom is getting on my nerves too. She's been really touchy lately and nonstop guilt-tripping, or so it seems to me. Why can't we just have a conversation without money being brought up? Or kohls? I mean, I simpathize and listen to all the shit she has to put up with. It's ridiculous! But there is only so much one can take. I can't imagine being in her place, but I feel like it's all she talks about now. Her frustrations. She needs to get a new job before she starts killing customers. Thanks Emily for putting up with my venting and inviting me to go swiming. It really helped.
Today was the perfect summer day. The perfect cure for yesterday. I got up at 1:43pm, showered, read outside laying in my backyard with the hot sun, worked out my arms and abbs (about time...), and then my mom came home. Tonight I saw X-MEN III and it was amazing. I never was really into x-men that much but me and emily watched the last two over the last week and I found I really liked them. Something different from the romantic comedies and touching dramas I normally watch. If you haven't seen it you should - and be sure to stay for the final scene at the end of the credits! I went with Lulu and Emily. What fun girls. I swear Lulu knows everything and everyone. I love it. When we got home we watched What A Girl Wants. That movie is amazing because it has Oliver James. He needs to be in another movie because he his perfect. Emily's new name is Ducky by the way. I think that one may stick a little longer than Billups. ;)
I have to get up soon for Church so I must go... BTW this week I'll be doing Vacation Bible School in the mornings but I don't really have other plans so call me if you want to make some!
