I woke up this morning in a sweat.
I was out of cigarettes.
I was out of money.
It was105 degrees outside.
Things looked bad.
I was not supposed to get paid until tomorrow.
That meant that I would be living on peanut butter and jelly and water
for two days. No smokes and no drinks to cool me down.
I walked into the office this morning to find our accountant sitting here, writing our checks out today.
"Its a jewish holiday tomorrow so I can't come. That's why you're getting paid today." she said
My heart filled up with glee and I knew it'd be ok.
