Weekend Update
I don't update this thing very often do I?
The weekend was very relaxed and fairly eventful...in a relaxing kind of way.
Got up early on Saturday to go pig at a breakfast buffet. Perry's Smorgy, decent prices, high quantity, fair quality, good coffee, stupid name. Filled me up so I could run down to Diamond head for some excellent body-boarding. Walked there and back for a round trip total of 6 miles of house envy. How much house does one need?
Saturday night brought the party scene. I went to Pink Cadillac, which used to be called Tabu's, which used to be called Pink Cadillac. The night is called Noctuary, goth/80s/shoe-gazer with a little industrial mixed in. Met up with a party of four and wandered over to Wave Waikiki for a so-so pop punk band. I'm being generous, half the party left after the second song and even the guy who was friends with the band was ready to go after two more songs. Wandered back to Noctuary for dancing and more drinking and then another bar after closing time which left me back home at 4 am.
Sunday was recovery day. I had been sick the last five days so I woke up with a lung wretching cough, a hangover, a nice sunburn from five hours of boarding, and my legs hurt like hell due to hiking and swimming. I ended up mading homemade chili which had incredible recuperative powers.
It was a goooooooood weekend.
