Wait, what, SERIOUSLY?!

So I want to take the kids to the School Day at the Renaissance Faire. The website says homeschool on it, so I figured I could go without any problem. Told the kids, we've gotten excited, etc. Called today to make the reservations only to find out that

I have to have a group of 20 kids.

SERIOUSLY?! 20 kids? 20 HOMESCHOOL kids? Where the hell would I find that? They're homeschooled for a reason, and that's not so they can have 17 other homeschool friends to do stuff with. I've taken them to a few homeschool activites (art class, golf, PE, etc.) and NEVER have I seen 20 at one time! I'm trying to think of all the ones I know of......hum....I'm coming up with 12? Never mind that some of them don't even know each other or the fact that they range in age from 5 to 17.

She gave me another option. "Bring them to family weekend. That's lovely for the whole family and you can go with them then too!" Yeah, um...nope. Can't. Not related. Her response...

"Oh, well you need 20 kids. Can you find 20 other homeschool kids?" LOL! Yeah...let me get right on that! Can you imagine?

"Hi! Hey you don't know me, but I noticed your kid takes homeschool classes. Yes I know she's older and in high school. Uh huh. No that's ok. Does she want to join my other kids at the faire? No they're still in elementary school. No? Oh well do you know anyone else?"
