How do you break the berlin wall with a plastic spoon?
Thats what I feel like I'm about to undertake. So apparently one of mom's old boyfriends from ages ago found her and asked her on a date. She figured why the hell not? Now the date I have absolutely no problem with, the problem is my little brother. She talked to us let us know what she is doing. I'm all for it. Mom has had nothing really to look forward to everyday since dad died. And I believe she won't marry again, but I when she was talking about how he asked her out she had such a huge grin on her face that i haven't seen in quite some time. Now the problem with my bro is that he believes mom is trying to replace dad. And now mom has place the awsome burden of talking to him with yours truly.
Now first off vic is a pain in the ass to talk to. He has this "holier than thou" attitude and I really have to hold myself back from just slugging him in the face, though he probably deserves it. I avoid most of my fights with him by not talking to him much. Second, if you do try to talk to him he automatically goes into a defensive mode, and doesn't listen to you at all.
So how would you go about this?
