Finally we have a horse as good as, if not better than Phar Lap.

Makybe Diva just made history and I damn near cried. Stupid TV atmosphere getting me all worked up.

Although I'm such a big spender that I only won $5.80 lol. (Oh, and $6.40 on Xcellent coming third so all up I'm in the black by 20 whole cents.)

I only turned the telly on halfway through the parade-y thing they have before they load the horses into the stall so I missed all that.

There's something funny about seeing little men so happy, though...lol

I damn near cried because I sat there and watched Jess walk off with the money tin! Stupid sweepstakes... stupid Vinnie Roe...

(In my course we run a sweep each year, we all put in $2 and winner takes all. Rowena was even more upset then me because she had On a Jeune... but we give nothing for second!)
