I considered wearing hospital socks
Today while one of my patients was attempting to use the hand-held urinal, he managed to pee on my shoe. He said, "sorry" and I was like, "eh, it happens." The nurse standing nearby was like "wow, you handled that really well." I couldn't help but flashback to certain moments from my old life taking care of rhesus monkeys. I also briefly considered exclaiming "bring on the piss!" but thought better of it since the chances of anyone realizing the reference would be remote at best. Anyway, writing this entry is reminding me to go change my socks so I'll just leave it like this for now.
