I Pity the Fool!
It's true - I pity the poor idiot who answers the phone at my credit union when I call later this morning. We're hoping to leave town this weekend (either to the Island or to Marinette to see xenogeny's folks) so I decided to double-check my balance and figure out a rough budget. And I am in the hole by $20 with an outstanding charge. WTF?! Panic set in and I imagined having to tell xenogeny that there was no way for me to go.
And then I realized that I hadn't spent anything since getting paid because my bills were going to go through.
It turns out the idiots took out my car payment twice and then hit me for an overdraft. Fuckers. I'm happy that I actually do have the cash, but I have to stay up until 9am to call and sort it out. After working 3rd shift. Yes, pity the poor asshole who gets my phone call.
