(no subject)
Hi,
Right now I don’t really have much internet access. They have to pay for the internet by every minute that they spend online so I can’t get online to check my email and things, I just have to write a generic letter for everyone and then hurry and get online and send it off. Hopefully tomarrow I will be able to go to the head teachers apartment, and there I think I will have more access to the internet.
I just wanted to let you know how I’m doing. I’m in Russia right now. The traveling to get here was really long. I think it took a total of two days to get here, but I’ve gotten kinda confused on what day it is :) so I could be wrong. When we got to Moscow we took a train to Voronish. It is soooooo cold here. Way more cold then I thought that it was going to be. I seriously thought that I was gonna go completely numb. The train ride was nice, they had little beds for us to sleep in, it was the first sleep that I was able to get in a couple days, so that was nice.
Its Sunday morning here and I am at my host family’s house right now. They are really nice. There is a mom, a dad, and two daughters. The oldes it 16 and the youngest is turning 11 this week. Both the daughters speek English whichs makes it really easy for me. After two days of traveling it was nice to get here, eat some breakfast and take a shower. Their home is really really nice. They live in a big apartment building, and the outside is kinda dirty, but thats fine, the inside of their house is really beautiful. I am sharing a room with the youngest daughter.
Tomarrow we are going to go to the school and check things out, do some training and things like that. I’m not exactly sure when I am going to start teaching yet. I think we are going to spend a week getting ready, but I’m not for sure.
So everything is going really well. I’m way excited to be here! Love you all!
