I survived September, everything was fun!
The Fair was a blast. It's the first time I bought a weekend pass, and was there Friday night (with my best friend, Andrea), Saturday (selling popcorn for Scouts) and Sunday (with the family). The next weekend was Tday, it was fun, and it went great, esp the whole green theme (no disposable dishes used all day - and about 8000 people attended, with around 14 food vendors). Then Youth Forum at the end of the month - an amazing experience learning about First Nations culture. A naming ceremony by Charrine - my name is Sacred Moon.
October's a wanin' and tomorrow I start a new job as documentation technician at my old high school. Okay, that means librarian...and audio visual stuff. Multimediaesque somethingorother. I think it's going to be great! It's for a two week period until they can officially hire me (union stuff). It's four hours per day, which is perfect - they even allowed me to arrange my hours Monday-Tuesday to bring Angus to therapy! Yahoo!
What's hit me hard this evening is my year is gone.
My year with Leo, my little baby.
He's almost one - not quite one and I already have to leave him with other people...
I'm really lucky though - I do get to spend a lot of time with him.
And I'm glad I'm going to work, I like having another life away from home. I need it.
Luckily I've been leaving him with Audrey off and on for the last while to get him used to going - he loves it!
Had the boys pics taken at Angus' other daycare on Friday - looking forward to getting them back.
A year gone. My last maternity leave. The end of an era for me in so many ways.
