Well, scroll back a bit and you can see what I've been doing with my time at Waldenbooks / the Day by Day Calendar kiosk at the Solomon Pond Mall in Marlborough. A few readers may actually have run into me at one point or another, earning the mad monies (well, not really).
Once the holidays are over, I'm not sure what I'm going to do. I'm saving for a vehicle to deal with the whole catch-22 situation (You know, the one where you need a car to get a job, but you need a job to get a car to get a job to get a car to-) and scoping out what I can for other opportunities once I run out of hours at Waldenbooks.
I'm trying to hammer out my resume and get my work together in digital format. I need to just sit down and work out my website interface. There's nothing there but a placeholder right now, and it's been that way since May because I suck and decided that eating and sleeping and working were all more important than designing or arting. The fact is, I need to sacrifice all of these things to really be a good artist. I do my best work exhausted, hungry, and slightly delirious, it's true. But enough about that. There's a fucking Mac in the house, and I still haven't transferred all my files off of my Mac-only hard drive. That is PRIORITY NUMBER ONE this weekend. Wait, no, work's gonna be kinda important, I guess... OKAY. After Christmas, before I have to make a New Year's Resolution to fail at, I will get this done. That, and I should keep up on this journal more often so that I feel guilty when I re-read this entry, and further motivate myself to work.
I need to at some point get ahold of Janna (or she'll read this) and find out what she wants for her truck, how's the mileage, etc. :3
