Name: Sasagawa Ryohei

Canon Background: Ryohei is a very loud and easily excited guy with an EXTREME passion for boxing. His passion is followed by strength greater than the average human and an enthusiastic personality that lets him live "life to the EXTREME." As the Sun Guardian he often follows the rest of the family with his enthusiasm, often without thinking the situation through. His humiliation however pushes him to overcome any disadvantage in order to improve his fighting skills.
In the series he is the older brother of Kyoko, whom Tsunayoshi has a crush on, and hides much of what he does from her. This was from a childhood incident where Kyoko was used as a lure by some high schoolers who didn't like him. The fight ended up with Ryohei getting a cut on his left temple which is a rather prominent scar now. And although he is somewhat clueless [and absentminded to boot] about the whole Mafia thing like Yamamoto it doesn't stop him from proving his skills in the ring.
During his fight against the Varia, Vongolia assassin group, for the rings Ryohei uses a technique he learned from Colonnello called Maximum Cannon that is able to break boulders. Ten years in the future Ryohei has improved on his fighting skills and using borrowed footwork techniques now unleashes Maximum Ingram which deals multiple blows. His special "dying will flame" increases recovery of his own cells and can also upgrade other box weapons.
Nightmare-verse Background: Not much changing from his canon-self, the only alteration being before any of the Vongolia-involved events occurred Ryohei went on a self-training trip to the mountains. His return to his home was short-lived before being told of a transfer to Nightmare High. He knows nothing of the other KHR-based characters.
Dream Form: A scarred kangaroo with bandages on the ears near the base. Bandages also cover his fore-claws, the tips of his ears and tail enveloped in a sun-yellow flame. The flame itself takes on a rather feathery look and burn upon touch. In this form Ryohei will do anything to defend himself or his comrades.
