We're so close, yet so far away...
... to Thanksgiving break.
I miss home.
Lately, the things I despise in college are being even bigger nuisances in my life.
College life lacks privacy and control. No, I'm not talking about Stephanie. Besides occasionally opening the door when I'm changing, she doesn't intrude upon my privacy. I'm talking about the common bathrooms and the laundry room.
I want my own bathroom to use and clean. Someone on this floor keeps clogging the toilet. Another one, maybe even the same person, never flushes.
Today, I had to do 2 loads of laundry: one with sweaters & jeans and the other with everything else. A boy was sitting there using the washer & dryer in our basement; I have never seen him in my life before. Awkward? In goes my load of laundry with undies. I come back 40 minutes later to load the dryer and put the second load in the washer only the boy is sitting between the washers and dryers. Great. Imagine me taking out a few wet articles of clothing, shaking them out, and then walking over to the dryer to throw them in. Guys, give the girls their privacy when they do their laundry. No questions asked, please. Anyway, I finished the first load before leaving with the guys. Later, I called Michael and asked him to pick up my second load of laundry for me. Someone though had taken the liberty to dump my sweaters and jeans on top of the dryer. Thanks a lot! They weren't even in there for that long.
I just yelled at Stephanie for her to start her philosophy paper. I will start biology now so we can be mutual homeworking. I'll try to get in a good actual post next week.
