I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who's helped me get settled in here at Memento Eden. It was very frightening at first, and the bears certainly didn't help, but you've all been very kind to me. Miss T-T-T-Taiga, I'm going out to look for that bear again this afternoon, and you're welcome to join me if you want!

Well, it ended up hurt after that tree fell on its head... I know you didn't mean to, but I thought I should go apologize.

...It's a bear. It was chasing us. I acted entirely out of self-defense.

If it has any hard feelings, it's because it didn't get to eat us! You go back there and you'll just get attacked again!

Don't. It attacked us, and we escaped. That's all there is to it. I mean, do you feel bad when a rabbit escapes from a fox?

Look, it's just...it's a crazy world out there. You've gotta keep on your toes to survive. Don't apologize to something you injured in order to stay alive. I guarantee you it would not be apologizing if it had killed you.

I don't think it's okay to hurt people- or bears -and then just forget it happened. Just because someone or something can't or won't apologize to you doesn't mean you shouldn't apologize to it... right?

But use your head! Did I really just say that? It's one thing to be sorry for what you did, but it doesn't mean you have to go and apologize. Sometimes you just can't apologize, but rather learn to move on.
