It's been a long week....

Well, I haven't written in a while! OK, last Saturday I drove to Ft. Lauderdale with my mom and got my homecoming dress! I really like it! Then we drove home and I went with my church to "The Silver Ring Thing". I saw a ton of people there! I saw Abby K., Mr. Tucker, Tiffany, and tons more. I hung out with Josh and Steff most of the time. It was alot better than i expected it to be. The rest of the week was pretty uneventful. I went to a basketball meeting and a green group meeting, did hours of homework, and had our first basketball open gym Thursday!!! That rocked! I was sick Friday but went to school anyway. Then Saturday I had open gym again...no one was there but it was a blast! Then today, i went to church and watched a movie with my family. Tomorow I might go to the beach with some friends. OMG,I saw Janay today at church! It was so nice to see her! It brought back tons of old memories...good times on the Shockers!!! WEll that's about it but I want u to read my poem and comment on what u think needs corrections or how it makes u feel. Much appreciated!!!

Life

It is such a beautiful day,
Next to my cat I do lay.
Purring so sweetly is my cat,
And the other one waddling because he’s fat.
As the wind rustles through the plants,
And up the stems scurrying are the ants.
Trees of every shape and size,
They are like candy to my eyes.
You can smell summer coming in the air,
As my window is open and out it I stare.
Everything is so splendidly green,
It’s the most beautiful sight I’ve ever seen!
The birds are singing their sweet tune.
As the clock inside signals that it’s noon.
The butterflies fly with such a grace,
And the children play with a smile on their face.
Such a sweet smell the flowers give.
What a great gift it is to live!
