What is a free-for-all?
A centralized place once a month for people to brainstorm, ask for help, or make announcements.
What do I do to participate?
Make a comment with your announcement, question or problem.
Answer comments! Provide assistance or give congratulations.
What are appropriate subjects for the free-for-all post?
Anything regarding your writing.
Brainstorming/plotting help.
Requesting opinions on things like titles, character names, or locations.
Research help. (Please tell the group what research you've done so far!)
Announcements, like if you've made a submission or published/will publish a story/poem/etc.
Advertising writing challenges you're running or participating in.
Encouraging and helpful responses to all of the above.
REQUESTS
Last month, sandrasfisher requested: I need a Beta Reader. To have someone to brainstorm and bounce idea off of would be great as well. Plus a cheerleader who could help me get my creative juices flowing for the story to get written.
If you can help her with any of those items, she'd be greatly appreciative.
