What to do if you have a Philippine Passport

May 25, 2007 04:56

Ranting is not cool, so let me try to extoll the unsung virtues of carrying the Philippine passport..

TOP FIVE REASONS WHY A PHIL PASSPORT IS FAB!

a) When travelling overseas, no need to lock it in the safe.
Nobody is really keen to steal this, especially identity thieves. They will not go very far with it

b)  You'll be an expert on all requirements/policies of all embassies wherever you live-very priceless!
Write a bestseller insider's guide on getting visas, then use earnings to buy you citizenship elsewhere.

c)  They become so thick and can double as weapo(if needed)
Just try hitting someone with a bible-thick one and watch them bleed. Preferably tested on enemies.

d)  You have a walking photo history of how you've aged/or not aged over the years
If you run into a friend, vs. whipping out ipod fotos, flick through visas to share stories from each period.
     No batteries needed.

e) Can be used as ice-breaker during tense US Immigration interviews
During my last NY trip, I was stuck in this slow-moving aisle where the guy was interrogating every       single person on  god knows what. When my turn came, he looked at me, then my passport and said 'You guys always have like five pieces of these things! Travel a lot?" I smiled at him,(did a tiny hairshot Pantene stle);and said, Oh totally! i'ts been my blessing and my curse I tell you! He winks at me, stamps it hard and wishes me off" Have a great stay in the United States Ma'am. Till when are you staying here? Ayan tapos in two minutes.
