[He's just playing with the Dreamberry as he writes that opera he said he would. But he has an important question:]

Am I still 35 or am I 36? I had a birthday, but then I had another one here. Or have I gone back in time? Nannerl is from the past. I guess I'd still be 35, but another year older would be interesting. But then I would be old. Hmm.

Not today! It was a while ago actually. But the question has been plaguing my mind.

Everybody keeps asking me that. Why of course it matters! Doesn't your age usually matter? And I did already have a birthday, don't you wonder at all what this would mean?

Well, yes, but I know what age I am. And if you already had it, why wouldn't you just be that age?

Isn't the point of a birthday that you age another year? I had a birthday and turned 35. But then I had another one here. It's a very perplexing conundrum. 35 or 36? Which number is better?

That's what I thought, but my birthday was celebrated again.

But you know what I think? I think if I have a birthday and stay 35, then it really would be like a dream world! Having birthdays and never aging.

35 it is, Miss Liddel.

[Plus he's really supposed to die at 35.]

Well you won't not age. You're just not 36 yet.

No, if I had a birthday and then another one, yet didn't turn another age, then I am not growing older!

But then again, it's strange I had another birthday.

Because this is a dream world?

No, because 364 days haven't passed. You're 35 and a half at best.
