Inoue Orihime isn’t stupid.
She knows what people think of her, what they say behind her back. She knows that even her friends think she’s air-headed and weak.
But she’s not.
She adheres to the practice of modesty, but she also doesn’t need to accept whatever people say. If they think she’s a ditz, to put it bluntly, then they’re wrong.
It’s as simple as that, really. She’ll keep fighting and smiling, but she wants people to know that she is not what they think she is. She also knows that they’ll never see her as anything but a ditz.
