SHERLOCK HOLMES WEEK DAY #1: The BSC! :D

Yoooosh~! Let's start the celebrations with a post about The Baker Street Chronicle! The lovely boolafaz got it for me! ♥!! There's a rather funny story here, actually... I was ridiculously confused when it arrived because I wasn't expecting anyone to get it for me? I'd actually put in an order myself two days before it showed up in my mailbox, b-but in between going to see The Dark Knight Rises with wraithness & trying to find the perfect birthday present for madmodesty I hadn't managed to sit down and pay the invoice yet. (I would've paid for it immediately through Paypal - but they asked for a bank transfer within Europe and I absolutely hate online banking. I was putting it off until the weekend. x'D) *laughs!*
SO WHEN IT GOT HERE I WAS ALL: "OH GOD! WHAT DO I DO? I HAVEN'T PAID FOR THIS!" aaaand "DID SOMEONE ACCIDENTALLY TICKY BOX MY ADDRESS WHILE PAYING FOR IT??" on Twitter, ahahahaha. =')
Poor boolafaz! I can't even receive presents properly! *grin!*
FUNNY FACT: I meant to order a copy for myself in order to check it out & see if I should get another one for boolafaz. Great minds think alike, huh. x'D
Anyway...
THE COVER! :D
My mother's boyfriend is a publisher & he was able to tell me the paper's pretty nice quality and the printing is not at all bad! Except that the cover page is slightly smaller than the pages inside - b-but that's a minor nitpick. I'd never have noticed that myself. O.o; Conclusion: NICE QUALITY, YO.
If you're thinking of getting your own copy... I can only highly recommend it? GO FOR IT! IT'S WORTH IT! ♥!

BOTTOM LINE: THE BSC IS AWESOME AND EVERYONE SHOULD HAVE THEIR OWN COPY. THERE ARE 44 PAGES AND IT IS AMAZING, OK. *NOD NOD!*
Thank you so much for getting it for me, boolafaz! I'd have got you one if you didn't have your own copy already, haha. That just means I'll have to find other ways to spoil you. By the way, we've totally got to meet up soon so I can pass you ALL THE THIIIINGS including the present wraithness and I got you a while ago! :'D I'm a bit reluctant to mail it out because I don't trust B-post very much, b-but I feel guilty for hanging on to it while you could be out there enjoying it! Maybe I should send it out with insurance if we're not going to be able to see each other in person any time soon-ish?
