Frankenstein @ Pathé in Rotterdam!

We had no idea which version of the play we'd be seeing - there's kind of a ridiculous lack of information out there concerning these screenings? But, it turned out okay in the end. We saw the version that has Benedict Cumberbatch playing the creature. :D :D :D
IT WAS AMAZING. REALLY. I had such a great time... despite some things not exactly going according to plan! Originally we had planned to drive there in my mother's car, b-but when we tried to fit all the fangirls inside we noticed the front passenger's seat wouldn't click into position & wraithness has super long legs so that just wouldn't do, OK. So, we ended up hijacking boolafaz's much nicer (AND AIR-CONDITIONED!) car. GOOD TIMES. *laughs!*
THE PLAY WAS ALSO AMAZING. BENEDICT CUMBERBATCH IS ALWAYS AMAZING. I actually really enjoyed it. Well, who wouldn't enjoy seeing Benedict writhe around the stage in nothing but a loincloth type of thing. He's got great legs. AND SO FLEXIBLE. O.o; B-but, that's NOT why I enjoyed it? The acting and the stage and the lighting - it was all just so fantastically done! I could have used a bit of a warning for one particular scene, though... But, it didn't ruin the amazing experience for me - unlike the night-ruiner that was Our Private Life with Colin Morgan. Sorry, Colin Morgan. (I'm not that sensitive, OK. I just like to know some things upfront.)

In slightly related news: I watched Snow White and the Huntsman with wraithness and define_serenity to celebrate both of their birthdays! I hadn't planned to see it, b-but I will go watch whatever wraithness & define_serenity suggest (BECAUSE THEY ARE AWESOME!) and I ended up really liking it! :O! I didn't go all "THAT WAS GREAT! OMG!" but Chris Hemsworth makes up for any plotholes, IMO... *grin!* (P.S. wraithness makes great brownies! AAND WE RAN INTO clariscakes! OR clariscakes RAN INTO US? WE TALKED ABOUT POUPEEGIRL AND IT WAS FUN!)
