Made In Asia 2012!! (DAY 1 & 2 PICTURE REPORT)

It gets better and more crowded every year! This time I decided to go for the official opening celebration from 7PM -> 9PM on Friday evening for the first time - well, boolafaz was going so how could I not want to be there? ALSO FREE ENTRANCE YAY. Obviously we also went back the next day for even more convention tiemz. :'D

It was a lot of fun hanging out with boolafaz for the whole evening~! :D I just wish I hadn't been so incoherent due to surprise presents and also WHY IS MY OBI CREEPING UP SO HIGH? *laughs!* I did make the ohashori/fold too long when I was dressing, though... but it didn't look that long?! The 1+ hour car ride and then queueing up outside in the wind totally killed my entire outfit, haha. MY HAIR LOOKED SO CUTE BEFORE SRSLY. PROOF.

The next day I woke up bright and early in order to put a little more effort into my outfit! x.X;
It sort of paid off...? RIGHT? I think this is my best try so far! I still have a lot to learn, though. *grin!*
It's still ridiculously messy but I think I am slowly improving. I need to use more towels/padding next time because I have scoliosis AND a super hollow back, lol. MY BODY WAS NOT READY. ONE DAY I WILL GET IT TO LOOK NICE, OK. *laughs!*
... at least it stayed on all day, you know. x'D

Don't you just love furisode sleeves? They're so gorgeous! I don't see myself ever wearing one, though... I don't mind wearing brightly coloured yukata, b-but I think when it comes to furisode I am too old already (even though I'm not married yet & probably won't be for quite a while! x'D), ahahaha! ;)
... also, wtf is that pose extraordinary. x'D

I didn't realise my obi has a crease there! Huh... I'll need to remember that for next time. It's the same obi as the one I wore the day before - not sure why it shows a crease only on the gold side? I'll try hanging it up in the bathroom next time I take a shower. Maybe that'll help. Well, it's second-hand so I guess some flaws are to be expected. O.o;

I never would've dared to try it without her! x'D Well, I'd done it once before with sarahcoldheart, lysistarielle and Lily in Singapre but THEY TOOK CARE OF EVERTHING AND I STOOD BY AND POSED LOL. I feel like purikura is something you need to have gone to university for... X____x

That was it! I'm so glad I finally finished posting these... it's been almost two weeks since the convention? Oops. I need to get back into the habit of making lots of LJ posts again. x'D
P.S. ...is it just me or did I take less pictures than usual? There was just so much to see & do at MIA4 - I guess I paid more attention to the booths and workshops than to the cosplayers this time. ^^;
Edit: I totally forgot to take pictures of the awesome things I bought! :O! I will make another post about it soon-ish? ALSO, I NEED TO POST ABOUT MY NEW FANDOMS. I HAVE SO MANY NOW.
