I spent all morning shortening it to fit my door frame/window and modified it so I'd be able to hang it on my crappy pre-90's plastic curtain track - it was originally made to be hung on a pole & tied with ribbons instead, but unfortunately I can't hang up a nice curtain pole on my wall BECAUSE OF REASONS so I had to make-do. I'm super pleased with how it turned out, though! =)
I really adore the fabric! I thought it was most likely from IKEA at first but upon closer inspection I noticed it had actually been shortened by someone before... and when I unpicked the stitches with a seam ripper I discovered a tag from Country Corner! It looks like such a fancy store? I think I got a pretty good bargain, haha... :O!
FYI: the curtain I had up before was the one the previous owners of our apartment left behind... it was suuuper dark purple-ish and basically looked pretty ugly in my mostly-pastels room. I trashed it. x.X
LOL! It's super rare of me to buy material for a project and then actually start (or finish! x'D) it the very next day! GO MEEEE?! *laughs!* I still have quite a lot of fabric piled up for other projects, though... SWEATDROP.
