My Trip to Edmonton
So, my first plane fights were completely unremakrable. There was some turbulance, but nothing crazy like they show on TV. (once again, TV you have LIED to me!). Once I got to Edmonton, I got my bags okay, then made the mistake of catching a cab to where I'm living. $75 later, I am poorer than I expected I would be. To the point where food is a luxury I can't afford right now. At any rate, I get to the residence, and it is UNDER CONSTRUCTION!! (for those of you from UOIT or who have heard my stories, you'll understand). I can't get AWAY from it. I'm all moved in now and unpacked and making up lists of stuff to buy from the dollar store when I get money. I met a bunch of the other girls that are also working at Capital Health with me, and they seem really nice. I start on Monday, orientation for a week, which I get paid for, thank GOD.
