The Proposal
We went to the school for a picnic and we were sitting in front of the pond in this clearing and the sun was shining and we were just about to eat when he said that he wanted to say something. So he said “ I love you, you are my best friend, you’re my everything. I realized that it doesn’t matter what I say, I don’t need some grand gesture or a crazy song. So it’s just you and me and a little question and a big box. Alicja Wakerley, will you marry me” and he handed me the box.
