I loved this. I hope you're going to continue with it:) It has such a lyrical quality to it.

I love that Wilson senses that he needs to be home. Beautiful

I hadn't thought of continuing with this, but I'm working on some other stuff. I have another piece in mid-edit that covers the first meeting between House and Wilson from three different perspectives. That said, this one started as a 300-word sketch, and I thought about writing more, but ultimately decided that I didn't want to dilute what I had.

Thanks for the compliments!

Oh my God. That was brilliant. That was utterly genius. I could feel Wilson's apprehension and anxiousness, and the ending just...wow.

Please keep writing, this was beautiful.

Merci bien!

I wrote this as an exercise in communicating character development using a narrator's voice and glimpses of internal monologue. I adore Wilson, and my fear was that the narrator would, too. I'll definitely be writing more. I don't work quickly, but I do a lot of writing.

I *heart* your icon!

Beautiful. Loved He heard one word from the street fighter's voice, one word only: go. Street fighter isn't something I would normally think of when thinking of Wilson but - yeah, he does have it in him. This was perfect.

Thanks so much, I really enjoy your work, too.

That line was one of my last edits, oddly enough, then I went back and changed it this morning after putting the story up, then changed it back. I like the idea that his better self thinks that following an instinct is the wrong thing to do, but that he is able to give in to the must of the situation. I like the idea that he's willing to let logic shut up.

God damn. That's beautiful. Awesome. I love it so much. I don't know whether you should continue or not but I definitely think you should keep writing House fic. This is brilliant. Thank you for writing it.

You're welcome, and thank you. Knowing that I have reached even one person with my writing helps me feel easier about sharing it. Posting is a huge risk, as I'm sure you know. I have read a couple of your stories. Still waiting for an update on the one with the baby. That has a lot of potential.

Compliments from folks whose stories I hoped to live up to are really quite humbling.

At this point, I'm not going any further with this, though I got some suggestions from my second editor and I may do some more work on the piece as it is. Nothing is ever really finished, you know?

Aw. Thanks. A fan of mine made it. The lines are from a fanfic I'm writing.

Meep! I love you. And I so do hope you write more-- you mentioned a how-they-met sort of rashomon-style? It sounds v interesting.

Wow, all the love is like, I'd say Vicodin, 'cept that I'm a Percocet girl.

I can;t promise that my little piece will have the incredible depth of Rashomon, but one of my first long original works was in the multiple angles style, and I've never tired of using that technique.
