christmas and errr like some junk
i love how my sister in law got me a pair of super ugly slippers for my birthday. they just made their way to salvation army the other day.
last night we recreated christmas with my dad's family. and my cousin got me another pair of the exact same god foresaken slippers.
break has been insane so far. some highlights (and lowlights)
-i'm getting a dorm at new paltz!
-presents!
.stuff for aformentioned dorm such as shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, granola bars, new socks, etc (i'm coming home every weekend to work so there's no way im packing up every weekend to come home, so ill have one set of things at school and another set at home)
.movies:harry potter, nanny diaries, night at the museum
.sweater, shirt, and sweats from my sis in law and brother

-ive been having panic attacks over student loan stuff b/c i dont understand the whole finicial aid process at all. i think ive missed the deadline and idk what to do. ughhhhh
-grades: history of women A, global politics A-, foundations in early childhood A, earth science A-...gpa: 3.82. woo mother fuckin hoo
-shopping!!! some of the things ive bought with my christmas money-5 new boy beaters (aka wife beaters for girls), red hoodie, 3 new pairs of jeans, calendar (CARS!), the simpsons movie and a new wallet
-new camera! both my dad and brother bought my mom a digital camera for xmas. so i bought the one from brett off of him and he bought mom something new. and im selling my old camera to ray.
-i'm on the habitat humanity team for CCOP. im soooo stoked.
-ive been getting kinda emo about the fact that i dont get to see adam as much as i'd like. yeah i know seeing him every day is unrealistic. and i knew this was gonna be tough when i started dating him....i knew he had no car and no phone. but it didnt seem so bad then. its just really starting to get to me. i thought things would get better after school ended but its only gotten worse. i know its not like he lives halfway across the country but still. i would like to spend some time with him on occasion.
