sooo i haven't even been back for a week yet, but i just...freaking love etown. i really really hope that those of you who are seniors now end up loving college as much as i do, and as much as i'm pretty sure everyone else who reads this does. i'm already worrying about leaving in 3ish years, because i'm retarded. haha.
anyyyywayyy, i don't talk to all of you every day, so i'm just letting you know some important stuff that's going on :)
umm first of all, i got accepted into the peer mentors program, annnd i'm still kind of in shock...i really really really wanted this, but i didn't want to let myself want it too much in case i didn't get in...does that make sense? but yeah, it's kind of like our peers at shs, except uh...here, they actually do stuff. haha. we have to go to a week of training in june and i'm sooooo hype haha. idk who i'm working with yet for my peer group, professor-wise or other-peer-mentor-wise [er...that looks awkward haha], but i'm excited to find out! and to make sure that freshmen next year love etown! yayyyy!
i also got offered a job with writing services as a writing consultant, which actually really surprised me because the lady's really intimidating and she intimidated me in the interview annnnd i thought i like bombed it. apparently not haha.
alex and i were supposed to go to DC tomorrow with the communications department [it was a free trip, too!] buuut only like 8 people signed up, so it was cancelled. gay. but now i have a peer breakfast thing to go to [with bagels from panera! mmmmm] so it's all good. and i don't have to work since i got a sub. and my mom's coming up on saturday morning for the ALD induction-y thing anyway, sooo it's good that i'll be able to get some sleep and stuff tomorrow.
i miss you guys alreadyyy gah. BUT i'll be home again in less than a month for easter! it kinda scares me that this year went by so fast, because i only have 3 more years until i have to like...get a real job. and i have a feeling that they'll fly by, too :/ i'm excited that i can like...go to celebration and stuff, though. since college ends in may. okay. this was kinda long and i have to go to a meeting/dinner/chorus.
