my epiphany
so as i was scraping spaghetti off of plates in the dishroom tonight, i came to a realization:
i can do this. on my own, if i have to.
i am not--and don't need to be--defined by the people who surround me. i need to be able to survive independently. i need to become my own person and find my own identity. i need to define myself, rather than be defined.
college will be excellent.
