We never met, but for the last 20 years we have been taking messages for her. They have been from friends and marketeers, the Republicans and charities. At one time, about 9 years ago she was involved in an auto accident and an adjuster kept leaving messages for her. We kept saving those messages waiting for her to call and retrieve them, but alas she never did.
Last week an attorney called looking for her executors and by that I assume she has passed on without ever calling for those messages. On the other hand there's still hope. We looked for her obituary and could not find it. Maybe news of her demise was premature. You know how attorneys are.
