art classes

i'm excited because i'm going to take an art class!

in highschool i poured hours and passion and love into painting and drawing, but when i went to college, i never bothered to take any classes and supplies were just so expensive.  occasionally i sketched something in charcoal or took out the nubs of my craypas set and prismsacolours, but for the most part left it behind.  i continued to craft in my early-mid twenties: jewellery, envelopes and other odds and ends.  but then i started having trouble with my hands and arms and left it all behind.

these days i'm doing a little better and hoping to find ways to make art that don't hurt my hands/arms too much.  i'm not sure if it will work out, but I'm excited to try.  i signed up for a class at a local art supply store to reacquaint myself with some of the mediums I used to work in. Now I have to decide whether to take the 3 hour class on watercolors or acrylics.  i used both in the past, but watercolours were rarely used alone -- mostly as part of collages for multimedia work.  eeny meeny miney mo...
