mini-me revolution
it seems the season of reproduction grows ripe in my social circle.
suddenly i am hearing reports of mini-humans on the way all around.
every month or so i seem to find snapshots of tiny, wrinkled faces or fuzzy black-and-white uterus-scans filling my inbox. this combined with the loud chatter among non-pregnant individuals & couples of their ongoing attempts to join the (biological or adoptive) parental ranks informs me that this era of our generation is only beginning.
i am excited to be surrounded by more other-peoples'-children (my favorite kind of children these days). i can't wait till they get to my favorite age (the language acquisition/toddler age).
and then there are the gift-giving ramifications resultant from small humans working on making their way into this world...
so as the baby-showers pile up (i am so pleased that a progressive couple of mine are having a shower for the couple, not just the mother) i'm trying to figure out what might make good gifts?
what are your favorite things to give soon-to-be parents?
